What positions do I need to fill with my roster?
There are 9 batting positions and 6 pitching positions on your roster along with 3 bench spots for either batters or pitchers. The starting positions are as follows:
Batting: C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, Util
Pitching: SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP
Any batter can fill the Util position. Any batter or pitcher can fill the bench spots. Otherwise, only players that play a certain position for at least 20 games are eligible to start at that position.
On your Roster page you have the ability to start or bench players on particular days. You can set your lineup many days in advance by clicking on future days. Use the dropdown menu next to a player's name no later than 10 minutes before the start of the game for that day to start or bench that player. Unfilled position spots will show an [open] sign.
The Team History link shows every player you have started on your team and their statistical performance. This also details the buy and sell price of all the players you have owned.
